Taxis can sit at Cleghorn level crossing for 25 minutes
TAXI drivers and their customers travelling between Lanark and Forth are facing nightmare delays of up to 25 minutes every day at Cleghorn Level Crossing.
And Ronnie Jenkins, owner of Clydewide Taxis in Lanark High Street, said that his school bus run services for Lanark Grammar and Robert Owen Primary School are similarly afflicted.
The complaints are the latest in a long line reported by angry motorists since a [pounds sterling]1.5 million Network Rail upgrade of Cleghorn Level Crossing was completed two months ago.
