NEW YORK -- For those who like to dine al fresco, but elegantly, the outdoor furniture market has a lot to offer these days. Using more sophisticated fabric designs and constructions, manufacturers are breaking down the walls that divide the inside from the outside and extending the home beyond the perimeters of its foundation.
Henry Vanderminden, national sales manager for Telescope Casual Furniture, said the trend for outdoor furniture was textured-type fabrics with a linen or wicker-weave look -- "very natural looking fabrics.
