SATURDAY March 31 marked the 700th anniversary of Robert the Bruce's famous victory at Glentrool over a superior English force - and one local family pulled out all the stops to ensure the crucial battle got a fitting anniversary tribute.
Richard and Judy Cass, of the Buchan, Glentrool - which looks directly over the battle site across the loch - assembled a impressive line up of guests to celebrate the event.
