THE former Windsor Road clinic which has been on the market for about a year looks likely to have a "healthy" future.
Primary health care chiefs have accepted a bid for the site and a deal is expected to be announced shortly.
Head of estates for North Lancashire Primary Care Trust Philip Hargreaves said this week: "As the sale is still going through the legal process, the PCT is unable to reveal any details at this stage, but we understand the site is being bought for health-related use.
"We are now hoping for a speedy conclusion to the sale."
