THERE have been widespread complaints about the number of people omitted from the electoral register for Thursday's general election.
One elderly couple from Glenmore was removed from the register after 50 years.
However many of those affected did not heed the advice of Kilkenny County Council and check to make sure they were on the list.
Another problem was that in some areas of the city, voters did not get polling cards in the post.
