Holocaust production stepping to Broadway
Irena's vow, the off-Broadway Holocaust play starring Tovah Feldshuh (left), is heading to Broadway this spring. The production, which tells the true story of a Polish Catholic woman who risked her life to hide 12 Jewish refugees, opened Sept. 7 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center. It sold out its limited eight-week run the next day and has broken all house records for the venue. Last week, the show added 20 encore performances from Nov. 8 through Nov. 25.
