PITTSBURGH, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Significant shifts in newspaper readership have taken place in Pittsburgh since last spring. The newly released Fall 1996 Scarborough Research report shows that the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is being read by 74,330 more adults on weekdays in the 16-county Designated Market Area (DMA) than it was six months ago, bringing total daily readership to 637,930. On Sunday, the PG increased by 30,440 readers during the same period to a total of 1,033,240 readers.
