Holy Cross seniors Daryl Brown and Jon Brock first met each other about 15 years ago, when their moms arrived early one day to pick them up from elementary school in Stone Mountain, Ga. Yolanda Brown and Hope Cheeks got to talking and found out they were in the same sorority. They quickly became friends and it wasn't long before their sons, then first-graders, were playing at recess, sharing crayons, eating lunch and learning to read together.
Brown and Brock have been best friends ever since.
"Actually, it would be an injustice to call Jon a friend," Brown said. "We are brothers."
