SLEAFORD Town's new ground, Eslaforde Park, hosted a junior football festival on Sunday.
More than 300 young players and 30 teams from across Lincolnshire took part in the event, organised by the Lincolnshire FA, Sleaford Town Football Club and McDonald's, The FA's community partner. The festival was part of McDonald's Football Festival Tour which will see 43 free festivals held across England.
Children from all of Lincolnshire's Charter Standard clubs were invited to Sleaford for the six-a-side tournament, which was divided into four age groups - under 8, under 9, under 10 and under 11. The host club, Sleaford Town, won the under-8's section, where ...
