A ROW has broken out over the flying of Union flags in Dungannon's Market Square.
Dungannon Mayor Barry Monteith has criticised the proliferation of flags, claiming that it is 'an attempt to make Dungannon Market Square a cold house for nationalists'.
Along with his Sinn Fein colleague Larry McLarnon, the Mayor warned that the flags 'were extremely provocative at this time of year'.
"We have been inundated with complaints, especially from young people, who say they have been shocked with the explosion of flags", said the Mayor.
