Nov. 11--TOWER CITY -- Three borough code enforcement officer positions that were abolished in February and reinstated in July -- but placed under suspension -- remain in the balance.

Council President Bruce Schneck said after Monday night's borough council meeting that the subject was still under discussion between attorneys and no resolution has been determined.

The council held a nearly 50-minute executive session in the beginning of Monday's meeting to discuss personnel legal matters, including the code enforcement officer positions, but took no action.
