Black pepper, jeera weakens on fresh selling
New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) Black pepper and jeera prices drifted by Rs 100-200 per quintal in the national capital today on stockists selling triggered by weak trends at producing regions.
Black pepper fell by Rs 100 at 13,200-13,300 per quintal on poor export demand.
Jeera common and jeera best quality declined by Rs 200 each to Rs 10,000-10,400 and Rs 12,800-13,300 per quintal respectively.
Poppyseed (Turkey, MP-RAJ and UP) dropped by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 490, Rs 505-590 and Rs 450-460 per kg respectively.
