Mavis Barth
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene for Mavis Gail Barth of Eugene, who died Aug. 17 of renal failure. She was 71. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Burial will be at noon Aug. 31 at Aurora Lutheran Church, Owatonna, Minn.
She was born March 4, 1937, in Owatonna to Melvin and Gunda Nelson Hovland. She married Ronald Barth on June 30, 1957, in Owatonna.
She graduated in 1955 from Owatonna High School. She worked as a typist at the University of Minnesota and was a homemaker.
