NEW YORK, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher Radko, the designer responsible for reviving the popularity of glass Christmas ornaments, has joined with Saks Fifth Avenue, the luxury goods retailer, and Rockefeller Center to present a spectacular tribute to the beauty and true meaning of Christmas by auctioning a tree worth $50,000 to benefit the Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
The tree can be seen in the atrium of the flagship Saks store in Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue in New York City beginning November 26. Standing 12 feet tall, it holds over 1,000 of Mr. Radko's museum-quality glass ornaments and more than 5,000 lights. The ornaments range in value from ...
