Nov. 13--FORT MADISON -- Consolidating the emergency dispatch centers of Fort Madison, Keokuk and Lee County into a single center would improve the emergency services and could save taxpayers money, according to a feasibility study of the consolidation.
"Our initial feeling is that it is advisable and feasible to have a consolidated PSAP (public safety answering points) for Lee County.
