BOSTON -- Converted Organics Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN) announced today that the Company has filed a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to extend the filing date of its Form 10-Q quarterly report for the period ended September 30, 2008 for up to five additional days. The Company took this action in order to include in the quarterly report the results of its Class A warrant (NASDAQ:COINW) redemption, which closed on November 13, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
