Pfizer Inc. has launched a regenerative medicine research unit, marking the start of future Pfizer collaborations in the area of stem cell research.
"We will look at collaborations with other academic institutions and smaller biotechs," Pfizer spokeswoman Kristen Neese told BioWorld Today, in reference to future stem cell projects. Pfizer said it plans to make announcements about related scientific collaborations in the coming weeks.
The Regenerative Medicine Unit will have facilities located in the biotech hubs of Cambridge, Mass., and Cambridge, UK, and eventually employ around 70 researchers. The ...
