MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Brainerd International Raceway, Inc., a subsidiary of The Colonel's International, Inc. (Nasdaq: COLO), announces a very successful racing season. Gross revenues exceeded $2,500,000 for the second year in a row. The subsidiary closed out the third quarter ending September 30, 1996 with profits of $317,000.

The multi-purpose race track located in Brainerd, MN operates from May through October with their largest event, the NHRA/Champion Auto Stores National Drag Races held in August. Attendance at this event was up approximately 6% over 1995 exceeding 101,000 spectators.
