International Business Machines Corp. said Wednesday that it has received approval from the European Commission for its proposed acquisition of French software maker ILOG SA.
In July, IBM agreed to acquire all outstanding shares and warrants of ILOG for EUR215 million. Under the deal, the company will pay ILOG, EUR10 per ordinary share and the U.S. dollar equivalent of EUR10 per ADS, based on the Euro/U.S. dollar exchange rate as of the settlement of the tender offers.
