These may not be the best of economic times, but it's always a good time to start a business.
That's the message the new president of the Syracuse chapter of Score is sending out.
Score is a nonprofit organization of current and retired business professionals who volunteer their time to advise people on how to start, run and grow a business. They provide the service free of charge.
Joseph Pagano, who succeeded attorney Paul Newman as president of the Syracuse chapter on Oct. 1, said the number of people seeking the help of Score members fell 9 percent -- from 750 in the fiscal year that ended Sept. ...
