Nov 16, 2008 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Eric Dodd has retired as CEO of the Australian branch of private health insurer BUPA. He had assumed that role at recent BUPA merger partner MBF in 2002. Dodd, who will remain a non-executive director, is raising public awareness of prostate cancer and of preventive medicine in general. He argues annual routine medical exams should be subsidised by the Australian Government.
