Should women dentists be more concerned than male healthcare providers that better than one-in-five women in the United States are living with disabilities. The statistics show that there are 30 million women and girls with disabilities, and this number is increasing steadily. Maybe there should be comparable concern among all healthcare providers. But then again, more than half of the 54 million non-institutionalized residents with disabilities residing in the United States are women.
