MOSCOW -- URALCHEM, OJSC, ("URALCHEM" or "the Company"), one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS, today announced the launch of production of ASN 32:0:0:5, based on unique technology, at Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Works, OJSC.
"Smart" granules of the new ASN formulation have a gradient structure with a high concentration of ammonium sulphate on the surface and a high concentration of ammonium nitrate on the inside. The combination of these two different salts makes it possible to supply plants with nitrogen throughout the entire growing period.
