Jean-Baptiste Lully
CPO: 777 367-2
Jean-Baptists Lully's 1678 tragedie lyrique, psyche, is the third Boston Early Music Festival opera production to be released on CPO. The first two--Conradi's Ariadne and Lully's Thesee--received well-deserved Grammy nominations for Best Opera Recording in 2005 and 2007 respectively.
