Republican senator vows to strengthen relations with India

Washington, Nov 17 (PTI) -- Appreciating the contributions of the Indian American community in the United States, a top Republican Senator John Cornyn has pledged to continue to work for strengthening relations between Washington and New Delhi.

Senator Cornyn of Texas also promised to consider leading a trade delegation to India in the near future.

Cornyn, Founder and Co Chair of Friends of India Caucus in the US Senate, was at the Annual Awards Banquet of the Greater Dallas Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.
