ALTON, Ill., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Argosy Gaming Company (NYSE: AGY) announced today that Indiana Gaming Company, L.P., the partnership in which the Company's subsidiary holds a 57.5% interest and is general partner, has received the final permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ("ACOE") to allow construction of its permanent riverboat casino and entertainment complex in Lawrenceburg, Indiana (Cincinnati, Ohio area). Upon receipt of the ACOE permit, the Company immediately scheduled its inaugural cruises for Tuesday, December 10, 1996 with the Indiana Gaming Commission.
