Carlson Hotels Worldwide announced that it has signed franchise or management agreements for 33 new properties in the third quarter of 2008. The new hotels and resorts span 13 countries, including 13 Radisson and Radisson SAS properties; 12 Country Inns & Suites By Carlson(SM) properties; seven Park Inn locations; and one Regent luxury hotel. The company also announced 12 new hotel openings in August and September, adding locations in Norway, Russia, Germany, Brazil and the U.S. Carlson's worldwide portfolio currently totals 995 hotels with more than 148,000 rooms in 74 countries.
