TCI of Northern New Jersey, a 211,000-subscriber system in one of metropolitan New York City's most affluent suburbs, has formed a programming alliance with The Bergen Record, the area's dominant local newspaper.
The Tele-Communications Inc. system and The Record are teaming up to produce four hours of local programming per week on the system's local-origination channel.
The programming began on an experimental basis last year, and it was officially launched last month.
