PITTSBURGH, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 1996--Interstate Hotels Company (NYSE:IHC), today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of The Westin Washington D.C. City Center, formerly the Washington Vista, making it the tenth acquisition since the Company's June 20th initial public offering. Interstate has signed a franchise agreement with Westin Hotels.
The Westin Washington D.C. City Center is a 400-room, full- service hotel located in downtown Washington, D.C. in close proximity to the nation's Capitol, monuments, museums, government offices and local businesses. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to a new ...
