SAN FRANCISCO -- Monster Cable's owner, Noel Lee, plans to bridge the gap between the worlds of computers and home entertainment.

Monster Cable, a $50 million manufacturer of high-performance speaker cables, audio cables, video cables and accessories, will launch a new family of multimedia cables and a line of digital video disc and DVD-ROM cables at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month.

Readying itself for a future that promises a surplus of convergence products, the company is emphasizing the multimedia line.
