In 2000 Warren Somerville donated his world-class collection of minerals and fossils to the Australian Museum, which now holds it in trust for the people of Australia. The collection is displayed at the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum--Home of the Somerville Collection in Bathurst, New South Wales, where it is seen by visitors from around the world.
