Udokan copper license might not be paid by end 2008 - Chemezov
MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - The consortium of Alisher Usmanov's Metalloinvest holding and the state Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) corporation that will develop the giant Udokan copper deposit in Russia's Chita region might not be able to pay for the license to the field by the end of the year, Sergei Chemezov, Rostekhnologii's general director, told Interfax.
Anatoly Ledovskikh, the head of the Russian Federal Subsurface Resources Agency (Rosnedra), has said he'd reached agreement with Alisher Usmanov that the Udokan license would be paid for by the end of the year. Metalloinvest ...
