Alan Jaffa, chief operating officer of Safeguard Properties, is in the delinquent mortgage field service business. That's a fancy way of saying the company cleans up a home after the mortgage has gone delinquent, the lender has foreclosed and the homeowner has moved out.
Given the ongoing financial crisis, it's no surprise that his business is booming.
