Parker Hannifin Corp. has purchased a Malaysian manufacturer to boost its electromagnetic interference shielding line and better serve the Southeast Asia region.
The acquisition of EmiTherm Sdn. Bhd., which makes EMI shielding and other thermal management products, was completed Oct. 31. EmiTherm posted revenues of about $4.2 million in 2007, Parker said.
Earnings are expected to be accretive to Parker in the first full year and will be reported within its Industrial International segment, the Cleveland-based company said. The firm didn't reveal terms of the deal.
