THE cost of ridding the former Ferodo site near Caernarfon of asbestos dumped there in the past could amount to millions of pounds.
Cardiff-based Bluefield Caernarfon Ltd wants to build dozens of new homes on the 27-acre site alongside the Menai Strait which they bought for an undisclosed sum last year.
As part of its consultation, Bluefield's plans attracted hundreds of visitors at an exhibition last week.
Bluefield will be working with Gwynedd Council and the Environment Agency before submitting its plans for a mixed development in the New Year.
