SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1996--Alps Electric (USA), Inc., a leading manufacturer of PC and Macintosh computer peripherals, today announced the appointment of David Forter to vice president and general manager of its Computer Business Unit.
Forter will oversee all aspects of the unit's operations, including reseller and OEM channels. His plan for the company is to make Alps a leading brand of PC peripherals, including color printers, disk drives, and a variety of input devices.
