AT&T has opened an internet data center in Singapore as part of a USD1billion investment to increase its hosting capacity at 38 data centers worldwide. The center will act as a regional gateway to the internet and the companys network and will include AT&Ts Synaptic Hosting platform. The center supports large-scale computing and application infrastructure on demand that can be pooled with other AT&T hosting services such as managed networking, virtualized security, application acceleration, and storage.
