PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1996--Interstate Hotels Company (NYSE: IHC), today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of the Burlington Radisson Hotel in Burlington, Vermont, marking the eleventh acquisition since the Company's June 20th initial public offering.

The Burlington Radisson is a 255-room, eight story hotel located in downtown Burlington. The hotel is within walking distance to Lake Champlain's waterfront area and other downtown Burlington attractions, and is a short drive to some of Vermont's finest ski areas.
