On September 11, 2001, Generations X and Y joined their parents and grandparents in experiencing an event so daunting and all-embracing in its scope that an entire nation, and perhaps much of the world, will remember for the rest of their lives where they were, what they were doing, and how they felt the moment they heard the horrific news of the terrorist attacks on the United States.
