Firm launches counter attack via a truth campaign and "Gift Card Promise"

ATLANTA, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fed up with misleading, inaccurate and speculative information regarding retailer gift cards, Jones Lang LaSalle's retail group launched its own positive campaign to defend national retailers and reassure shoppers. In the "Gift Card Promise" program, gift cards issued by national retail stores within the mall it leases and manages throughout the United States that no longer hold their value due to store closings will be honored through February 1, 2009.
