Norilsk Nickel raising loan for 279 mln euros to refinance shipbuilding program

MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax) - Russia's MMC Norilsk Nickel (RTS: GMKN) and a group of western financial institutions have signed a 278.8- million-euro facility to refinance its shipbuilding program, the company said in a statement.

The facility, which will be covered by Euler Hermes Kreditversicherung AG and used for the construction of four arctic icebreaking class container vessels by Aker MTW Werft GmbH, Germany, has a ten-year tenor and will be drawn in U.S. dollars, the statement says.
