CARLSBAD, Calif.--Dec. 24--Still need a Christmas present for a loved one?
How about a night in the Presidential Suite at the nearly completed Aviara Four Seasons Resort? For a mere $4,000 a night, you get your own private wing, three bedrooms and a sitting room, a baby grand piano and authentic Italian antiques.
With an expected July 1 opening, Four Seasons' officials and workers are forging ahead at full speed to get the grand resort ready. Early predications called for a February 1997 opening, but a change in contractors forced a delay in construction and pushed the opening back several months.
