Swedish installation products trader Ahlsell AB announced on Wednesday (26 November) that it has decided to implement staff reductions due to the deteriorating market situation.

The company said that it will shed a total of 500 employees, of which 300 are in Sweden and the rest mainly in Norway and Finland.

The personnel cutbacks represent some 10% of Ahlsell's total headcount.
