ANGLESEY dad Aled Williams was last night celebrating after his wife made medical history and became the youngest British woman ever to give birth to Siamese twins.
Laura Williams, 18, had the conjoined twin girls - who she and Aled have named Faith and Hope - by Caesarean section yesterday morning.
A family spokesman told the Daily Mail: "All is looking fairly positive."
Laura, from Shrewsbury, defied medical advice to abort the girls early in her pregnancy.
Only about five per cent of conjoined twins survive the first 24 hours, but because they are joined at the front, doctors say the chances are good in this case.
