PASADENA, Calif. _ With 1 minute, 32 seconds left in Ohio State's bittersweet season, backup quarterback Joe Germaine trotted smartly onto the field, licking his trigger finger like a confident gunslinger.
All that was at stake was the Rose Bowl title. But Germaine seem unfazed, almost serene.
