(ADP News) - Nov 28, 2008 - The net profit of Saudi Advanced Industries Company (SAIC) (SAU:2120), active in setting up and investing in industrial projects, rose to SAR 17.5 million (USD 4.7m/EUR 3.6m) in the first nine months of 2008 from SAR 10.4 million in the same period of 2007, or an increase of 68.4%, board chairman Khaled al-Shatri said in a filing to the Saudi stock exchange.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.4 for January to September 2008, up from SAR 0.24 a year ago.
The company reported a 69.1% year-on-year increase in the operating profit to SAR 18 million in the first nine months of 2008.
