Nov. 29--Organizers of the Finney County United Way are just about $15,000 short of the 2008 fall fundraising goal; the group has raised $486,287 as of this week, bringing it to 97.2 percent of the $500,000 that will benefit 22 local agencies. Some of the big donors this week include the following businesses and individuals: Donors who gave between $500 to $999 include Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Heiman, Keller & Miller CPA's L.L.P., Dr. Justin Kohlhorst, D.V. Douglass Roofing Inc. and an anonymous donor. Dr. Kandee Klein and the employees of Americold Logistics gave between $1,000 and $1,999, and the employees of USD 457 donated between $3,000 and $3,999.
