BEWARE the scrums converging on Limerick now that Former Miss Limerick Eleanor Fitzgerald has broken up with Munster and Ireland hooker Jerry Flannery. The couple split up two months ago after a four-year romance.
Who kicked who to touch is neither here nor there. What matters -- and what's deeply sad now -- is that Eleanor, a beautiful beauty therapist in Limerick, and the Irish rugby icon Jerry seemed made for each other. And obviously, Eleanor and her glamorous aura will be deeply missed around the place at the rugby.
