MEMBERS of one of Scotland's most exclusive golf clubs are considering a multi-million-pound buy-out to keep the course under their control.
The [pounds sterling]100 million deal could see the 800 members each paying more than [pounds sterling]100,000 to wipe out Loch Lomond Golf Club's debt.
The move comes after the club, whose members include Sir Sean Connery, Rangers management duo Walter Smith and Ally McCoist and Prince Andrew, was put in the hands of OMR, a US firm of business recovery specialists, amid mounting financial problems.
