Record-Breaking Concrete Pour
Watching a large concrete mat pour is always a lot of fun. Typically the pour begins at night and ends the following day after many long hours of hard work. Such was the case in downtown Indianapolis on Oct. 10-11 when crews placed more than 5,800 cubic yards of concrete for the 34-story JW Marriott Indianapolis - a key part of the $425-million JW Marriott Indianapolis complex being developed by White Lodging, Merrillville, IN, and REI Real Estate Services,Carmel, IN.
